BIKE TO WORK WEEK - May 30th to June 5th
by Sherrie Regier - Thursday, 19 May 2016, 11:51 AM

Bike to School and Work Week is a BC-wide event coming up May 30th - June 5th, and Beattie School of the Arts will be participating for the second year in a row, with bike skills, safety and riding opportunities for all students.

Bike skills and safety will be kicking off the week for Pods 1 and 2.   On Monday May 30th, students in Pod 1 and Pod 2 are asked to bring a bike, helmet and lock to school.  Bike skills and safety will take place in the school grounds.  If students can’t bring their bikes, we will encourage sharing among peers.  Volunteers are needed to help with stations on Monday, May 30th.   No bike skills required, just kid skills.  Pod 1 will be from 11:15 am - 12:05 pm and Pod 2 will be from 1:48 pm - 2:30 pm.

Please read the attachment for further details regarding Bike to Work (and School) Week.

Grade 7 Course Selection Follow Up
by Barb Hamblett - Monday, 22 February 2016, 7:56 AM

If parents have questions about course selection for next year's grade 8s, please contact either Mr. Hall, Mrs. Oetter or Mrs. Hamblett. All grade 7s attended the Day in the Arts last week and have then been asked to fill our their course selection for next year. Normally we would follow this up with a parent meeting. This, however, has been postponed for a later date when all parents with questions about next year can attend. Stay tuned for this date to be announced after spring break.
